Proper Comfort-Fit breast shields placement:

• Allow your nipple to move freely in and out without touching or rubbing along the sides of the breast shield.
• Insert only your nipple and a small portion of the area around the nipple.

If the Breastshield for your breast is very large, you will notice that a large part of your areola is pulled into the breastshield tunnel.

If the Breastshield for your breast is too small, you will notice that:

• Your nipples touch or rub along the sides of the tunnel.
• You feel a sting or pain in the nipple during pumping.
• Your breasts do not feel empty after pumping or it takes a long time to feel empty.
• Your nipple will be deformed when you finish pumping.
